Business operating days and hours


Vehicle movements are carried out Monday though to Friday at your agreed rate. Weekend movements can be quoted on request, but will be charged at a higher rate than your agreed rates.


DeliverCars.co.uk office opening hours are 9am - 5pm weekdays and are closed on a weekend

Delivery types


Driven / Trade plate service, means your vehicle will be driven via a qualified and insured delivery agent on a public road. Your vehicle must be road worthy and carry a valid MOT. If an agent arrives on site to find the vehicle is not road worthy a full abort will be charged.


Transported service, means your vehicle will be transported via a qualified and insured delivery agent. The vehicle must be able to drive onto a transporter under its own power. If the vehicle is unable to do this you will need to book a vehicle recovery service which we would be happy to quote for you on request. If an agent arrives to find the vehicle will not move under its own power to be loaded, an abort will be applied, unless the truck has the resources to load the vehicle at which point a new rate will be applied to the movement request.


Delivery date options


Fixed delivery date service, is when you request a date you would require the movement to be carried out on.


Flexible delivery date service, is when you allow a time frame of 0 to 5 working days to move the vehicle in. (Business day is classed as Monday - Friday)

 

Cancellation / Aborted Movements / Waiting Time


If for any reason a vehicle movement is cancelled within 24 hours of collection, you will be charged full fare for that cancelled vehicle.

If a vehicle is aborted on collection, be it the new vehicle or return vehicle, you will be charged full fare for that cancelled vehicle movement and charged the train fare to get the driver back.


Waiting time will be applied to every hour that a driver is waiting on a job. Waiting time will be handled in the following way.


We allow 30 minutes from the driver arriving at site to leaving with the vehicle. Any delays past 30 minutes will be chargeable as per our agreed waiting time rate. if the driver has not been supplied with the vehicle within the first 30 minutes of arriving on site, we will contact you to advice.


Damage


We do not accept liability for stone chips incurred to the vehicle window screen or bodywork on route to delivery point, unless you have taken out our chip protection upon booking the movement. All customers will be required to sign for the vehicle upon handover, should there be any damage identified then it must be noted on our delivery paperwork. Any damage claims will only be considered if the damage has been noted on our delivery paperwork. For return vehicles, any disputes over vehicle condition that differs from our appraisal of the vehicle must be notified to us within 24 hours of vehicle delivery to dealership / auction site, images of disputed damage must also be emailed across to us within this timescale.


Payment terms


Our payment terms are cleared funds within 14 days from reciept of our invoice. None account holders are required to pay upon booking.

By accepting communication from us, you agree to being sent occasional promotional material. You can opt out of this at any time by clicking the ‘Change your subscription’ link on the bottom of our emails.


Pricing is based on the rates issued to you, which are reviewed and monitored throughout the year and can be charged once written notice has been provided. the rates that are issued / agreed with you are non transferable between deliveries or customers.
